My approach to real estate is built on a foundation project leadership. In my previous career, I served as a Piping and Construction Estimator and Project Manager. Both positions taught me how to analyze every detail, manage tight budgets, and see the structural potential in a project long before the first shovel hit the ground.
When I retired from the construction industry, my husband and I decided to channel that expertise into a new mission: building a legacy through land acquisition. For the past six years, we have been intentionally growing our portfolio, acquiring acreage across Mississippi, Louisiana, and Southern Illinois.
Since transitioning into real estate investing full-time over four years ago, I’ve expanded my reach into short-term and mid-term rentals, as well as comprehensive property management. My background in estimation means I don’t just look at a property; I see its logistical and financial potential.
I believe real estate is about more than just land and titles—it’s about the people behind the property. Whether we are discussing client exit strategies or land acquisitions, I bring the same integrity and analytical rigor to my clients that I brought to my construction projects for years.

I’ve had a career spanning over three decades in environmental services and have followed my passion of acquiring numerous parcels of land. In 1996, I established my leadership in the industry as a co-founder of Environmental Specialties International (ESI), where I have served as Vice President of Construction and Senior Project Manager. Throughout my tenure, I’ve managed complex technical infrastructure and mining divisions, roles that built my foundation in large-scale operations. My transition into real estate began in the early 2000s, initially focusing on property acquisitions across Mississippi and Louisiana. Most recently, I expanded my focus to southern Illinois, where I maintain nonresident landowner status for both investment and recreational purposes. My current portfolio includes three residential houses and nearly 500 acres of land. My goal is to become a more creative investor. Beyond property acquisition, I actively manage diverse interests, including short-term Airbnb rentals and agricultural land improvement. Looking toward the future, I am launching Pursuit Property Ventures, Inc. to further scale my impact as a dedicated real estate professional.
